K.U.L.T. Kress Umweltschonende Landtechnik GmbH was founded on the vision of combining traditional farming knowledge with modern technology for sustainable, gentle soil cultivation. Established in 1989 from the work of Walter Kress, the company has been under the leadership of Christian Kirchhoff since 1997.

The company specializes in the production and distribution of mechanical and flame weeding systems, particularly for vegetable crops, vineyards, and orchards. In 2014, a U.S. subsidiary was founded to serve the growing North American market.
